considered to be the buckle of the rust belt. Today our area is

Youngstown's Mill Creek Park is one of the largest and most
natural urban parks in the country. The park sits on 2530 acres,
and contains over 36 miles of paved roads and pathways. The park
features wildlife refuge areas, several lakes for boating and fishing,
and numerous sports facilities. One of our area's sporting
highlights is The 10 Km peace race, which winds through the park
each October.
